Victoria Marie

Producer/Director

Producer/Director, Victoria Marie arrived in Los Angeles in December 2013 with nothing more than a dime and a dream. Determined to make her mark in the entertainment industry she realized after a year of struggling the only thing a fifty-something, gray-haired woman with only one movie credit and little training could do was create her own content. Hence, GRAY IS THE NEW BLONDE documentary was born! With the help of her mom, Carol, who did all the photoshop wizardry, she created the Facebook page in the spring of 2015 and things began, albeit slowly to grow from there. Three and a half years later she has built an incredible team who are all just as excited as she is to see Gray Is The New Blonde become the awe-inspiring documentary she has seen in her mind's eye since day one. In her downtime, you can find Victoria at the gym pumping iron, at her happy place - the beach or binge-watching her favorite Netflix original series or movie. As a huge animal lover and activist, Victoria finds time in her busy schedule to care for her neighborhood stray and feral cats.🐾

Beate Venohr Pilgreen

Stills phtographer

Stills Photographer, Beate Venohr Pilgreen has been a photographer in her personal life for all her life but it wasn't until she sat for a boudoir photo shoot a few years ago that she realized photography was her true calling. Having always been in front of the camera during her modeling career it was a natural progression for her to move behind the camera that she now has fully embraced professionally. As an advocate for positive body image and women aging with grace, she started her own boudoir photography business in 2015. Her work has been published multiple times in Huffington Post and in German publications. Originally from Germany, Los Angeles has been home to Beate since the early 90's where she now lives with her two children.

Macushla Baudis Ph.D. Historical Consultant

Historical Consultant, Machushla Baudis has a Ph.D. in design history - eighteenth-century fashion and textile design to be exact. This led her to become interested in the concept of identity, gender, fashion, and self-expression. Having over fifteen years of teaching experience in art and design history in universities and colleges, she taught one particular course entitled 'Fashion and Film' which served to fuel her exploration into the language of clothing in film history. This continued her interest in gender, image and celebrity culture. Eventually, she started her own research project on the cultural history of grey hair, and the issues of beauty, identity and femininity - which she soon hopes to publish. Macushla lives in Germany with her husband and two children.
